Pavilion of Flowers, 274 Shotwell St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States of America

Pavilion of Flowers has been lovingly arranging beautiful flowers since 1966, making its first home in a ten sided pavilion with a glass steeple, a flower shop built by Steven Walter for his wife, Argentina. For decades, Pavilion of Flowers was an iconic Pacifica institution on Highway 1, Oceana Blvd, overlooking the ocean. After Steve and Argentina passed away within days of each other in 2001, their daughter took over the family flower business. Now, in its fourth generation of family ownership, Pavilion of Flowers continues to be a true “mom n’ pop” small family business. Pavilion of Flowers has recently moved to a new location in San Francisco in the heart of the Mission, just blocks from 16th Street and Mission Bart station, and is located across the street from In Chan Kajal park, where the sounds of Mexican folk dance rehearsals and children playing color the air with their joyful sounds. Pavilion of Flowers now proudly occupies a building on Shotwell St, built in 1936. Living and working in San Francisco, Lauren and Andrew have a deep love and commitment to the local community in the city they were raised in. Here in the Mission, Lauren and Andrew continue to elevate their floral artistry and diversify the menu to offer all customers the enjoyment of premium, beautiful flowers for every occasion.
